Our Mission
The Town of Binghamton/Conklin Gas Lease Coalition (“the Coalition”) is a free and voluntary group of landowning persons in Broome County. The Coalition Steering Committee will negotiate gas leases with the objective of maximizing lease-signing payments and royalties to Coalition members, as well as securing lease terms to protect the land and landowners.
About the Coalition
The Binghamton Conklin Gas Lease Coalition is made up of about 700 families who own a total of 19,000 acres. We formed the Coalition in order to protect our homes, families and livelihoods while still being able to benefit from the sale of natural resources that lie beneath our land.
The Coalition land is located near the city of Binghamton, New York. Minutes off of route 81 and just a few miles outside of Pennsylvania. It is only 3 hours from the urban markets of New York, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.
